The open play­room is the heart of our fam­ily cen­ter — a cozy meet­ing place where com­munity and ease come togeth­er. There is so much for chil­dren to explore: age-appro­pri­ate toys, room to crawl, laugh, and try new things.

A Meeting Place for Little Ones and Their Families

The open play­room is designed for fam­il­ies with chil­dren aged 0 to 4 — babies, tod­dlers, and their par­ents, grand­par­ents, or oth­er care­givers. It is open to every­one, regard­less of back­ground, lan­guage, or mem­ber­ship.

New fam­il­ies look­ing to con­nect are just as wel­come as famil­i­ar faces who enjoy com­ing reg­u­larly to play, chat, or simply spend a warm and relaxed time togeth­er.

 

Time for You — With No Fixed Schedule

Open­ing times may vary from week to week; the most cur­rent sched­ule can be found in our pro­gram.

With­in the giv­en time slot, you are free to come and go as it suits you and your child. There is no struc­tured pro­gram — the open play­room is a flex­ible, fam­ily-friendly space that adapts to the needs of young chil­dren and their care­givers.

Our open play­room is run by volun­teer hosts who are avail­able to answer ques­tions, offer sup­port, and help ensure that all fam­il­ies feel wel­come — fully in the spir­it of ELKI’s com­munity val­ues.
